Ilang paaralan sa Abra, nagkaroon ng crack matapos ang magnitude 7 na lindol

May namataang crack sa ilang paaralan sa Abra makaraang tumama ang magnitude 7 na lindol sa naturang probinsya, ayon sa Department of Education (DepEd).

Sa Joint Press Conference ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) at DepEd, sinabi ni Atty. Michael Poa, tagapagsalita ng kagawaran, na mahigpit nilang tinututukan ang sitwasyon sa mga apektadong lugar.

“We are monitoring the situation on the part of DepEd. Meron tayong initial reports ng cracks ng schools sa Abra, and probably also Vigan. But I cannot give you a statement unless may confirmation na from our field offices and regional offices,” saad ni Poa.

Iniulat din nito na walang napaulat na nasugatang tauhan ng DepEd, teaching personnel, o mga mag-aaral.

Sinabi naman ni Poa na magbibigay siya ng update sakaling bibisita si Vice President at Education Secretary Sara Duterte sa mga paaralang apektadong ng pagyanig.
