NDRRMC, DSWD pinakikilos na ni Pangulong Marcos sa mga biktima ng lindol
Personal na nakatutok si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong”Marcos Jr. sa epekto ng 7.0 magnitude na lindol na tumama sa Abra.
Ayon kay Press Secretary Trixie Angeles, nakikipag-ugnayan na ngayon ang Pangulo sa National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council at sa Department of Social Welfare and Development.
“The President is presently coordinating with NDRRMC and DSWD. He has ordered an immediate dispatch of rescue and relief teams to Abra. The President is also coordinating with local officials there, and all agencies involved in disaster preparation and relief, equipment for use all of these have been ordered dispatched by the president,” pahayag ni Angeles.
Nanawagan din agn Pangulo sa mga kompanya ng telekomunikasyon na agad na magpadala ng tulong at libreng tawag sa mga lugar na nawalan ng signal dahil sa lindol.
“He also calls on the telcos to provide immediate assistance and free communication to all locations where the towers have gone down to keep these communication channels open,” pahayag ni Angeles.
