Panukalang batas na magdedeklara sa “ghosting” bilang emotional abuse, inihain sa Kamara

Nakaranas ka na bang ma-‘ghost’? ‘Yung tipong biglang iniwan at hindi na nagparamdam?

Naghain si Negros Oriental 3rd District Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr. ng isang panukalang batas na magdedeklara sa “ghosting” bilang isang ’emotional abuse’.

Sa ilalim ng House Bill no. 611, ipinaliwanag ng kongresista na ang “ghosting” ay isang akto kung saan biglang ihihinto ang lahat ng uri ng komunikasyon sa pagitan ng dalawang indibiduwal nang walang closure.

Nagkakaroon aniya ng epekto ang “ghosting” sa mental state ng na-‘ghost’.

Dagdag nito, “It can be likened to a form of emotional cruelty and should be punished as an emotional offense because to the trauma it causes to the ‘ghosted’ person.”

Matatandaang si Teves din ang naghain ng panukalang batas para palitan ang pangalan ng Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) sa Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. International Airport.
