Pangulong Marcos, nakiramay sa mga biktima ng pamamaril sa Ateneo

Nagparating ng pakikiramay si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. sa mga biktima ng pamamaril sa Ateneo de Manila University sa Quezon City, araw ng Linggo (Hulyo 24).

Tinukoy ng Quezon City government ang mga biktima na si dating Mayor Rose Furigay, isang Ateneo campus security guard, at isang hindi pa nakikilalang lalaki na maaring personal security ng alkalde.

“We are shocked and saddened by the events at the Ateneo graduation today. We mourn with the bereaved, the wounded, and those whose scars from this experience will run deep,” pahayag ng Pangulo sa kaniyang Facebook page.

Ipinag-utos na aniya sa mga awtoridad ang mabilis na pagsasagawa ng imbestigasyon sa naturang insidente.

“We commit our law enforcement agencies to thoroughly and swiftly investigate these killings and bring all involved to justice,” ani Marcos.

Dagdag nito, “Our prayers go to the graduates, their families, the Ateneo community, and to the residents of Quezon City and Basilan.”
