OCTA: Daily positivity rate ng COVID-19 sa NCR, muling tumataas

Muling tumataas ang daily positivity rate ng COVID-19 sa National Capital Region (NCR), ayon sa OCTA Research.

Ayon kay OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David, base ito sa naitatalang datos mula sa testing laboratories.

Noong Hulyo 15, umabot aniya sa 14 porsyento ang daily positivity rate, at sa sumunod na tatlong araw, lumabas ang mas mababang daily positivity rates.

“However, the positivity rate jumped in July 19 and now shows an increasing trend, which hit 14.6 percent on July 20,” saad nito.

Dagdag nito, “It is not yet clear what is driving this change in trends. It is also not clear at this time when the peak will be reached in the NCR.”

Base sa kanilang projection, aabot sa 3,000 ang maitatalang bagong kaso ng nakahahawang sakit sa bansa sa araw ng Biyernes, Hulyo 22. Sa nasabing bilang, 1,100 rito ay maaring maitala sa Metro Manila.

Ayon pa kay David, “Cases are now rising in many parts of the country. The new subvariants are immune evasive.”

Bunsod nito, patuloy aniya ang paghikayat sa publiko na mag-ingat at sundin ang mga health protocols.
