Tatlong freedom parks ibinigay sa anti-SONA rallyists
Inialok ng pambansang pulisya ang tatlong freedom parks sa Quezon City kung saan maaring magtipon at magsagawa ng programa ang mga magsasagawa ng kilos-potesta kasabay ng unang State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., sa Lunes, Hulyo 25.
Sinabi ni PNP director for operations Maj. Gen. Valeriano de Leon na ang mga raliyista ay maaring gamitin ang QC Memorial Circle, ang compound ng Commission on Human Rights at ang UP-Diliman campus.
“We appeal to the organizers of the protest actions to limit their activities in these freedom parks to prevent disturbance of the smooth traffic flow in the area and to avoid unnecessary confrontation with the police,” aniya.
Inulit muli ni de Leon ang utos ni PNP officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr. na ipatupad ang maximum tolerance kung susubukan ng mga raliyista na lumabas sa nabanggit na freedom parks.
Iginiit naman nito na bubuwagin nila agad-agad ang anumang pagtitipon sa labas ng freedom parks kung makakaabala sa trapiko at kaayusan.
Aniya, ang Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN) ay humingi ng permiso sa pamahalaang-lungsod ng Quezon na makapagsagawa ng kilos-protesta sa kahabaan ng Commonwealth Avenue.
Aabot sa 22,000 pulis, sundalo at force multipliers ang magbabantay sa SONA ni Pangulong Marcos Jr.
