Pinondohan ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) ng higit P8.441 bilyon ang pagdaraos ng Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan elections sa Disyembre.
Ayon kay Comelec spokesman, Atty. John Rex Laudiangco, base ito sa updated statement of allotment obligations and balances na isinumite ni Atty. Martin Niedo, director ng Comelec-Finance Services Department.
Sa pinakahuling talaan ng Comelec, nasa 1,712,315 ang mga bagong botante na nagparehistro.
Dagdag pa nito, posibleng pumalo pa sa mahigit dalawang milyon ang mga magpaparehistro pagsapit ng deadline sa Sabado, Hulyo 23.
Base sa estimate ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), nasa 73 milyon ang magiging botante sa 2023.
