Mahigit isang milyong bagong botante, nagparehistro ayon sa Comelec

Umabot na sa 1.073 milyong bagong botante ang nagparehistro para sa Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan elections sa December 5, 2022.
Ayon kay Commission on Elections spokesperson Rex Laudiangco, sa naturang bilang, 547,389 na bagong botante ang nag-eedad 18 hanggang 30 anyos.
Nasa 91,079 naman ang bagong botante na edad 31 anyos pataas.
Ayon kay Laudiangco, ang natitirang bilang ay nag-eedad 15 hanggang 17 anyos.
Tatagal ang voters registration hanggang sa July 23, 2022.
