COVID-19 alert level system, pinanatili ni Pangulong Marcos
Pinanatili ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang COVID-19 alert level system sa bansa.
Ayon sa Pangulo, ito ay habang inaayos pa ang bagong health restrictions classifications na ipatutupad sa mga susunod na araw.
Ginawa ng Pangulo ang desisyon matapos ang pakikipagpulong kahapon, July 18 kay Department of Health officer-in-charge Maria Rosario Vergeire at iba pang health officials sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang.
Ayon sa Pangulo, mas compatible sa kasalukuyang milder strains ng COVID-19 ang ipatutupad na bagong health restriction classification.
“To avoid confusion, we will retain the alert level system for now. We are, however thinking, we are studying very closely, and we’ll come to a decision very soon as to decoupling the restrictions from the alert levels,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Sinabi naman ni Vergeire na sa ikalawang linggo ng Agosto maaring ilabas ang bagong health restriction classification.
Nagpasya naman ang Palasyo na repasuhin ang memer agencies ng Inter-Agency Task force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.
Tanging ang mga relevant at may intended functions na lamang ang isasama sa IATF.
