Dagdag na social fund ng pamahalaan inilabas na ng DBM
Ibinigay na ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang P2.6 Billion na kabuuang pondo para sa social pension at iba pang social welfare programs nito.
Bukod pa ito sa pondo para sa Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) program o mas kilala rin na Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program o 4Ps.
Ito rin ay bahagi ng “For Later Release” (FLR) appropriation sa ilalim ng DSWD budget ngayong taong.
Ayon kay Budget Sec. Butch Abad, kabilang sa popondohan nito ang Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens, Protective Services for Individuals and Families in Difficult Circumstances, Supplementary Feeding Program, at development ng mga plano and polisiya sa ilalim ng opisina ng DSWD Secretary.
