Ayon sa Phivolcs, namataan ang episentro ng lindol sa layong 7 kilometers Southwest ng Burauen bandang 3:18 ng hapon.
May lalim na isang kilometro ang lindol at tectonic ang origin.
Bunsod nito, naramdaman ang Intensity 4 sa Ormoc City.
Nakapagtala rin instrumental intensities sa mga sumusunod na lugar:
Intensity 5 – Ormoc City, Leyte
Intensity 4 – Albuera, Leyte
Intensity 3 – Abuyog, Baybay, Leyte
Intensity 2 – Mahaplag, Dulag, Alangalang, at Hilongos, Leyte
Intensity 1 – Borongan City, Eastern Samar; Kananga, Leyte
Sinabi naman ng Phivolcs na walang inaasahang pinsala at aftershocks matapos ang pagyanig.
