Hiling na taas-presyo sa mga bilihin, pag-aaralan ng DTI
Hindi muna gagalaw ang presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin, ayon sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Ito ang sinabi ni Trade Sec. Federico Pascual matapos sabihin na may hiling ang mga gumagawa ng mga tinapay, de-lata at iba pang produkto na makapagtaas ng presyo.
“We are reviewing them. We are also observing the situation, the economic situation and the price situation of the commodities involved,” ayon sa kalihim.
Bago pumasok ang administrasyong Marcos Jr., may 82 produkto ang hiniling ng manufacturers na mapatungan ang presyo kabilang ang mga gatas, suka, toyo, sabon, detergent at arina.
May hirit na madagdagan ng P4 ang halaga ng bawat pandesal dahil sa mataas na halaga ng arina, asukal at mantika.
Sinabi ni Pascual na ang mga hirit ng taas-presyo ay nakabinbin sa kanilang Consumer Protection Group.
