Paul Desiderio, itinanggi ang alegasyon ni Agatha Uvero ukol sa pang-aabuso
Nagsalita na si Blackwater player Paul Desiderio ukol sa inilahad na alegasyon ng dating partner na si Agatha Uvero.
“Her social media allegation is unfortunate and sad, and most of all, untrue. I had hoped that we will be civil with each other after our separation, for the sake of our son,” pahayag nito sa kaniyang Facebook post.
Itinanggi nito na nagkaroon ng physical at emotional abuse sa dating UAAP courtside reporter sa kasagsagan ng kanilang relasyon.
“I vehemently deny her allegations of abuse during our relationship. I have had relationships prior to Ms. Uvero, and I also have a daughter from a previous relationship. I have never hurt a woman, especially not the mother of my child,” diin nito.
Makikipag-ugnayan aniya siya sa ginagawang imbestigasyon ng Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
“I am confident that I will be absolved of the accusations hurled against me,” dagdag nito.
Ayon pa kay Desiderio, haharapin niya ang anumang reklamong ihahain laban sa kaniya, lalo ang mga isyu na may kinalaman sa domestic abuse accusations.
Saad pa nito, “I have worked hard for the little that I have achieved in my life, and I have always done it with dedication and honor. I will fight for the honor of my and my family’s name and reputation because that is all we have.”
Humingi naman ng paumanhin ang basketball player sa kaniyang dalawang anak, pamilya, mga kaibigan, sa koponan, at sa lahat ng mga naapektuhan ng naturang isyu.
Matatandaang Miyerkules ng umaga, Hulyo 13, inisa-isa ni Uvero sa mga serye ng tweet ang umano’y naranasang pang-aabuso mula kay Desiderio.
Nagsimula ang relasyon nina Desiderio at Uvero noong Nobyembre 2017 at naghiwalay noong Mayo 2022.
