DPWH nakumpleto na ang slope protection sa San Fernando City, La Union
Natapos na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang konstruksyon ng 154-meter slope protection structure sa bahagi ng San Fernando-Bagulin Road sa Barangay Bacsil sa San Fernando City, La Union.
Binati ni DPWH Region 1 Director Ronnel Tan ang DPWH La Union District Engineering Office dahil sa mabilis na pagtatapos ng naturang proyekto.
Nakumpleto ang konstruksyon ng naturang proyekto sa loob lamang ng apat na buwan.
“With the completion of this eco-friendly mitigation structure, motorists and residents can now safely pass through the mountainous portion of San Fernando-Bagulin Road without worrying about accidents,” saad ni Tan.
Umabot sa P49 milyon ang inilaang pondo sa naturang pondo sa ilalim ng 2022 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
Sakop nito ang installation ng erosion mats na may ground anchor nails sa bahagi ng landslide-prone section ng kalsada.
