Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga, itinalaga bilang susunod na kalihim ng DENR
May napili na si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. na susunod na kalihim ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
Ayon kay Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles, nominado ng Pangulo sa pagiging kalihim ng DENR si Antonia “Toni” Yulo-Loyzaga.
“The President has nominated Ms. Ma. Antonia ‘Toni’ Yulo-Loyzaga as Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources. Her nomination will still be subject to the fulfilment of the required documents,” pahayag ni Angeles.
Si Yulo-Loyzaga ay dating chairperson ng International Advisory Board ng Manila Observatory, kung saan naging adbokasiya niya ang scientific research sa climate and disaster resilience.
Naging executive director din si Yulo-Loyzaga Manila Observatory at technical adviser ng Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation.
Nagsilbi rin si Yulo-Loyzaga ng Senior Advisory Board ng AFP Command and General Staff College.
