Abalos: “Hindi ako papayag na ma-demoralize ang ating mga pulis”
“Hindi ako papayag na ma-demoralize ang ating mga pulis.”
Ito ang ipinangako ni Department of the Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos, Jr. sa Philippine National Police (PNP).
Binanggit ng kalihim na may ilang pulis na nasasangkot sa mga kaso na gawa-gawa lamang ng mayayamang drug pusher upang mahinto ang operasyon ng pulisya. Dahil dito, ilang pulis na aniya ang tumatanggi na mapabilang sa Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU).
Kasunod nito, sinabi ni Abalos na gagawa siya ng sistema upang makalikom ng pondo para matuguan ang legal issues ng mga tapat na pulis.
“Titignan ko ito kung nasa lugar at tama naman, I will create a team to evaluate the evidence. Huwag kayong mag-alala. Tutulungan ko ang mga kapulisan,” ani Abalos.
Dagdag nito, “I want you never to be demoralized upkeep with our duty to uphold the law to make sure that there is peace and order in our country. ‘Yan ang gagawin natin.”
