Magpapatupad ng bawas-singil sa kuryente ang Manila Electric Co. (Meralco).
Kasunod ito ng inilabas na refund order ng Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) na nagkakahalaga ng P21.8 bilyon, na hahatiin sa loob ng 12 buwan.
Ayon sa Meralco, babawasan ng P0.7067 kada kilowatt-hour (kWh).
Katumbas ito ng P141 na kaltas sa mga residential customer na kumokonsumo ng 200 kWh, habang P355 naman sa mga kumokonsumo ng 500 kWh.
Ang pagbabawas para sa buwan na ito ang naging dahilan para mabaliktad ang lahat ng pagtaas ng kuryente mula noong Enero.
