DILG Sec. Abalos may rekomendasyon na kay PBBM Jr. ukol sa Barangay, SK elections
Ibinahagi ni Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos na isinumite na niya kay Pangulong Marcos Jr., ang kanyang rekomendasyon ukol sa papalapit na Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan elections.
Ngunit, tumanggi si Abalos na isapubliko ang detalye ng kanyang rekomendasyon.
Hindi din niya sinagot sa katanungan kung pabor o kontra siya sa mga panawagan na ipagpaliban ang eleksyon.
“If you would ask me about barangay elections, if its is going to be postponed or not, we’ve already made some recommendations here to the President. Let’s just wait for his announcement,” ani Abalos.
Magugunita na unang ipinagpaliban ang eleksyon noong Oktubre 2016 sa sumunod na taon at naulit noong Mayo 2018 at Mayo 22, bago nitong darating na Disyembre.
