Pilipinas, nakiramay sa pamilya ni dating Japanese PM Shinzo Abe

Nagparating ng pakikiramay ang gobyerno ng Pilipinas sa naiwang pamilya ni dating Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Binawian ang buhay si Abe makaraang barilin sa labas ng isang train station sa Nara habang nagbibigay ng talumpati para sa nalalapit parliamentary election.

“It is with profound sadness that we learn of the passing of former Prime Minister ABE Shinzo,” pahayag ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Dagdag nito, “We express our deepest condolences to the Japanese government and people on his tragic death. We send our most heartfelt sympathy to Mme Akie Abe and their family. We pray for their comfort in this most difficult time.”

Sinabi ng kagawaran na maraming Filipino ang humahanga kay Abe.

“We thank him for his key role in the strengthening of Philippines-Japan relations and for establishing a very deep bond of friendship with our country. Mr. Abe will be very much missed and always remembered,” saad pa nito.

Pumanaw si Abe sa edad na 67.
