Pangulong Bongbong Marcos, nagpositibo sa COVID-19 antigen test
Nagpositibo si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. sa COVID-19 nang sumailalim sa antigen test, araw ng Biyernes.
“He has a slight fever but he is otherwise okay,” pahayag ni Press secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles.
Dagdag nito, “Those who have been in close contact with him are currently being informed by the Presidential Management staff to observe their symptoms.”
Sinabi naman ng Palasyo na negatibo sa nakahahawang sakit ang Presidential son at Ilocos Norte First District Rep. Sandro Marcos.
Nasa isang out of town location naman ang nalalabing miyembro ng First Family, kabilang ang First Lady na si Atty. Liza Araneta-Marcos, kung kaya’t hindi nagkaroon ng exposure.
Negatibo rin si Executive Secretary Vic Rodriguez na madalas ka close contact ng Pangulo.
Dahil dito, ayon kay Angeles, hindi na dadalo ang Pangulo sa ika-246 anibersaryo ng U.S. Independence sa U.S. Embassy sa araw ng Biyernes.
Gayunman, dadalo naman “virtually” ang Pangulo upang magbigay ng mensahe sa event ng Leagues of Governors and Mayors meeting ng mga opisyal.
“The President encourages the public to get their vaccine series and boosters,” ayon pa kay Angeles.
