Diokno, tikom ang bibig sa alok na posisyon ni President-elect Duterte
Tikom ang bibig ni dating Budget Secretayr at University of Economics professor Benjamin Diokno kaugnay sa alok ni President-elect Rodrigo Duterte.
Nais ni Duterte na maging parte ng kanyang gabinete si Diokno sa pamamagitan ng pagbabalik sa propesor bilang kalihim ng Department of Budget and Management sa kanyang administrasyon.
Sa maiksing pahayag ni Diokno sa Inquirer, humingi siya nang paumanhin dahil hindi siya makapagbibigay ng komento kung tatanggapin ba niya o hindi ang alok ni Duterte.
Naging kalihim si Diokno ng DBM sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni dating pangulo at ngayo’y Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada.
Kamakailan ay sinabi ni Duterte sa isang pahayag sa Davao City na inialok niya ang posisyon sa Department of Education kay dating national treasurer Leonor Briones habang ang DBM naman ay kay Diokno.
