Panukalang legalisasyon ng diborsiyo sa bansa, ikinalungkot ng CBCP official

Nalungkot ang isang opisyal ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) sa inihaing panukala sa Mababang Kapulungan na layong maging legal ang diborsiyo sa bansa.

Sinabi ni Fr. Jerome Secillano, executive secretary ng CBCP Public Affairs Committee, hindi magandang kaganapan ang panukala dahil may mga mambabatas na nais pang sirain ang sagradong pagsasama sa halip na pagtibayin.

Naniniwala ito na maraming mahahalagang isyu sa bansa na dapat ay mas pagtuunan ng pansin ng mga opisyal.

Binanggit ni Secillano ang isyu ukol sa inflation, oil price hike, fare hike at COVID-19.

Unang inihain ni Albay Rep. Edcel Lagman ang Absolute Divorce Bill sa Kamara.
