Sen. Loren Legarda ipinanukala ang tablet kada estudyante
Kabilang sa mga unang panukalang batas na inihain ni Senator Loren Legarda ang pagkakaroon ng tig-isang tablet ng bawat estudyante sa bansa.
Inihain ni Legarda ang Senate Bill No. 1 o ang ‘One Tablet, One Student Act of 2022.’
Layon ng panukala na mabigyan ang lahat ng elementary at high school students ng public schools, gayundin ang mga nasa State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).
Ayon sa senadora ito ay para makaagapay ang mga estudyante sa pagpapatupad ng Department of Education (DepEd) ng online classes.
“By giving the students their much-needed device for learning, they would be able to participate effectively in the classes, and thus, we give them the opportunity to acquire more knowledge and become skilled after they graduate,” aniya.
Dagdag pa ni Legarda, isang paraan din ito para sa ‘accessible education’ dahil maraming estudyante ang hindi kayang bumili ng gadget.
