P6,000 na ayuda sa mga driver, tuloy – Pangulong Marcos
Tuloy ang ayuda sa mga drayber na apektado ng pagtaas ng presyo ng produktong petrolyo.
Ito ang napagkasunduan sa unang Cabinet meeting ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Sa unang press conference ni Marcos sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang, sinabi nitong tuloy ang fuel subsidy sa mga drayber ng mga pampublikong sasakyan na nasimulan ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Katunayan, sinabi ni Marcos na isasama na sa ayuda ang mga tricycle driver.
“We just discussed that we are going to try, not only to continue the fuel subsidies for the transport sector, but to expand it to include the tricycles,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Tinatalakay na aniya ng Gabinete kung saan huhugutin ang pondo na ipang-aayuda sa mga tricycle driver.
Dagdag nito, “In the Cabinet meeting, we talked about the funding and how are we going to manage the funding for the additional fuel subsidies. We have enough budget, I think, for this year and a little bit beyond but we still have to find that. We still have to find that money if we are going to continue.”
Tinatayang nasa 337,000 na mga operator at drayber ng jeep, bus, UV express, transport network vehicle service (TNVS), at delivery services na may lehitimong prangkisa ang makatatangap ng tig-P6,000 ayuda.
Nasa 60,000 naman na mga magsasaka at mangingisda ang makikinabang din sa fuel subsidy program.
