Kuntento at masayang iiwan ni Agriculture Secretary William Dar ang kagawaran.

“I am sincerely, genuinely happy to leave a solid foundation for Philippine agriculture in the next ten years, and I earnestly hope that this incoming administration will continue the DA’s current programs guided by the OneDA Reform Agenda,” pahayag ni Dar.

Ayon kay Dar, kaisa siya sa hangarin ni President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na maging maayos ang sektor ng agrikultura sa bansa.

“I share the same aspirations as the President-elect in terms of retooling, transforming, and sustaining a prolific Philippine agriculture and fisheries sector,” pahayag ni Dar.

Inihanda na ni Dar at ng DA transition team ang ilang major documents kasama na ang National Agriculture and Fisheries Modernization and Industrialization Plan (NAFMIP) 2021–2030 at commodity industry roadmaps para maging starting point ng susunod na administrasyon

Ang naturang proyekto ay may panukalang pondo na P250 bilyon kada taon.
