Ilang lugar sa NCR, idineklara ang Hunyo 30 bilang special non-working holiday para sa inagurasyon ni Marcos
Idineklara ng ilang lugar sa National Capital Region (NCR) bilang special non-working holiday ang araw ng Huwebes, Hunyo 30.
Ito ay para sa idaraos na inagurasyon ni incoming President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.
Pinirmahan ni Pasay City Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano ang Executive Order No. 38 para sa deklarasyon ng special non-working holiday sa nasabing petsa.
Paliwanag ng alkalde, “There is a need to ensure the safety of all citizens, both residents and those working in the City of Pasay, who may be affected by road closures which will undeniably affect the flow of traffic of both motorists and the riding public.”
Gayunman, tatanggap pa rin ng mga bayad ang Pasay City Treasurer’s Office para sa huling araw ng Tax Amnesty sa Huwebes simula 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 5:00 ng hapon.
Samantala, naglabas din si San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora ng Executive Order No. 125 para sa deklarasyon ng naturang holiday.
“I have issued Executive Order No. 125, Series of 2022 declaring June 30, 2022 as a special non-working holiday in the City of San Juan to help ensure the safety of all citizens and a smooth flow of traffic since this will be the day that President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will be taking his Oath of Office,” pahayag ni Zamora.
Naglabas naman si Navotas City Mayor Toby Tiangco ng Executive Order no. 067 para sa deklarasyon ng special non-working holiday sa buong lungsod.
Noong Hunyo 24, nauna nang pumirma si Manila Mayor Isko Moreno sa Executive Order No. 53 para sa deklarasyon ng kaparehong holiday.
Isasagawa ang inagurasyon ni Marcos bilang ika-17 pangulo ng Pilipinas sa National Museum sa Ermita, Manila.
