Ito ang ibinahagi sa panayam sa radyo ni Papal Nuncio to the Philippines Archbishop Charles Brown.

“I send my congratulations and cordial wishes to Your Excellency as you begin your mandate as the President of the Republic,” ang inihatid na mensahe ng Santo Papa kay Marcos Jr.

Dagdag pa ni Pope Francis; “I’m assuring you of my prayers that you will sustained in wisdom and strength. I invoke Almight God’s blessings of peace and prosperity upon the nation.”

Una nang nag-courtesy call si Archbishop Brown kay Marcos Jr., noong Hunyo 10 bukod pa sa ibang ambassadors at foreign dignitaries.
