Alert levels hindi na ibabase sa COVID-19 two-week growth rate

Hindi na ibabase ng Inter-Agency Task Force sa COVID-19 two-week growth rate ang alert level at risk classification.

Ayon kay acting presidential spokesman Martin Andanar, inaprubahan ng IATF ang rekomendasyon ng sub-Technical Working Group for Data Analytics ang bagong matrices na gagamitin para sa alert level system.

Sa halip, sinabi ni Andanar na ibabase na lamang ang risk classification sa daily attack rates.

Samantala, mananatili naman bilang main metric para sa health system capacity ang total hospital bed utilization rate.

“With the new matrices, the assignment of alert levels will be based on the revised cross-tabulation of total beds utilization rate and average daily attack rate,” pahayag ni Andanar.
