Sa kabila nang hindi pagkakalusot sa Commission on Appointments, pamumunuan pa rin ni Karlo Nograles ang Civil Service Commission.
Itinalaga ni President-elect Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., si Nograles sa kasalukuyan niyang puwesto.
Sa buong termino ni Pangulong Duterte ay nagsilbi ang dating kinatawan ng unang distrito ng Davao City, naging cabinet secretary, acting presidential spokesman at spokesman ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).
Samantala, si outgoing Labor Sec. Silvestre Bello III naman ang mamumuno sa Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO).
Magugunita na naging kalihim din ng Department of Justice (DOJ) si Bello sa ilalim ng administrasyong-Ramos, bagong naging cabinet secretary ni dating Pangulong Gloria Arroyo at partylist representative noong 2013 hanggang 2016.
