IBP may apila sa US government para sa pinatay na Filipino lawyer

Pinatitiyak ng Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) sa gobyerno ng Amerika na mabibigyan ng hustisya ang pagpatay sa abogadong Filipino sa Philadelphina.

“We strongly condemn this senseless act and hope that the US authorities are able to serve Atty. Laylo and provide the family he left behind justice and peace of mind by apprehending the perpetrators at the soonest possible time,” ang bahagi ng inilabas na pahayag ng IBP.

Pinaniniwalaan na ang biktimang si John Albert ‘Jal’ Laylo ay biktima ng ‘random shooting.’

Bumisita lamang si Laylo sa kanyang pamilya sa Philadelphia at papunta ito sa airport para naman lumipad patungong Chicago nang pagbabarilin ang sinasakyan nilang mag-ina na Grab vehicle.

Nag-alok na si Philadelphian Mayor Jim Kenney ng $20,000 reward para sa impormasyon na hahantong sa pagkakahuli sa salarin.

Naging legislative staff nina dating Sen. Mar Roxas at Sen. Leila de Lima si Laylo, bago ito naging bahagi pa ng kampaniya ni Vice President Leni Robredo.
