Ilang minuto bago pairalin, binawi ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) ang unang anunsiyo na ilalagay sa yellow alert status ang Luzon grid.
Ang yellow alert status ay iiral dapat ng ala-1 hanggang alas-3 ngayon hapon.
Sa pagbawi, ikinatuwiran ng NGCP na mababa ang pangangailangan ng suplay ng kuryente sa Luzon.
“The yellow alert would not be implemented due to low actual system demand,” ayon sa NGCP.
Inanunsiyo ang pagpapairal ng yellow alert sa Luzon grid dahil sa pagbagsak ng ilang planta, ang QPPL, SLPG 3, SLPG 4, GMEC 1, GMEC 2 at Calaca 2.
