Plaasyo may payo sa Independent online media ukol sa ‘Red websites’
Pinayuhan ng Malakanyang ang mga independent online media na humanap na lamang ng mga legal na pamamaraan kaugnay sa pagharang sa websites na iniuugnay sa Communist Party of the Philippines – New People’s Army.
Kaugnay ito sa utos ng National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) na i-block ang mga natukoy na websites, tulad ng Pinoy Weekly, PRWC Newsroom at Partisa-News.
Ibinahagi ni presidential spokesman Martin Andanar na ang National Security Council ang humirit sa NTC na i-block ang ilang websites.
“The recent move of the NTC to block certain websites is upon the request of the NSC in performance of its mandate,” aniya.
Ginawa ni NSC adviser Hermogenes Esperon sa katuwiran na ang mga website ay may kaugnayan o sumusuporta sa partido komunista.
