MMDA nagbukas ng charging station para sa e-bikes, e-scooters
Libreng magagamit na ng mga gumagamit ng e-bikes at e-scooters ang solar charging station sa MMDA Head Office sa Pasig City simula sa Lunes, Hunyo 27.
Maaring mag-charge sa nabanggit na charging station mula ala-6 ng umaga hanggang alas-7 ng gabi.
Sinabi ni MMDA Chairman Romando Artes layon nito na mahikayat ang paggamit ng mga alternatibong paraan ng transportasyon at para na rin sa promosyon ng renewable energy.
Tulong na rin aniya ito sa publiko para mabawasan ang epekto ng mataas na halaga ng mga produktong-petrolyo.
“Putting up free charging stations for electronic vehicles such as e-bikes and e-scooters would encourage the public to use alternative mode of transportation and at the same time help them save expenses from high fuel costs,” sabi pa ng opisyal.
Kinakailangan lamang na magdala ng kanilang charging cords at cables ang mga nais mag-charge sa charging stations.
Binabalak din na maglagay ng katulad na charging station sa MMDA Headquarters para naman sa mga e-bike and e-scooter users na bumibiyahe sa EDSA.
