Sen. Chiz Escudero sasanib sa super majority sa Senado
Natuldukan na ang mga ispikulasyon na magiging bahagi ng minority group sa Senado si Senator-elect Francis Escudero.
Sa pamamagitan ng text message sa Senate reporters, sinabi ni Escudero na iboboto niya para pamunuan ang Senado sa 19th Congress si reelected Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri.
“Being in the majority means you voted for the winning Senate President. I will vote for Migz,” ang mensahe ni Escudero.
Samantala, ikinatuwa naman ni Zubiri ang pagpanig sa kanya ni Escudero, na aniya ay matagal na niyang kaibigan.
“Being a veteran lawmaker and a brilliant lawyer, he brings the skills and experience that the Majority block would need to champion laws and advocacies for the good of the nation,” ang papuri ni Zubiri kay Escudero.
