“Marami naman tayong opportunities na alam nating maraming problemang hinaharap but still, I think we have identified certain areas,” pahayag nito.

Dagdag ng magiging susunod na Punong Ehekutibo, “We are not so well-funded that we can cover all different areas and all the different sectors of the economy, so it will be very focused, we will be very focused.”

Bunsod nito, pamumunuan aniya niya ang Department of Agriculture (DA).

“As to agriculture, I think that the problem is severe enough that I have decided to take on the portfolio of the secretary of agriculture at least for now. At least until we can reorganize the DA in a way that will make it ready for the next years to come,” saad nito.

“We will rebuild the value chain of agriculture. That is why I thought its important that the president take that portfolio so that not only to make it clear to everyone what a high priority we put on the agricultural sector, but also as a practical matter so that things will move quickly,” paliwanag pa nito.
