Naniniwala ang Department of Health (DOH) na nagsimula na ang ‘peak’ ng mga bagong kaso ng COVID 19 sa bansa.
Sinabi ni Usec.Ma. Rosario Vergeire na base ito sa mga nakalap na bagong datos.
Aniya sa buong bansa at sa nakalipas na linggo, 60% hanggang 70 porsiyento ang itinaas ng mga kaso. Sa Metro Manila dumoble na ang bilang ng mga kaso.
“Right now, what we are seeing is that the number of cases continuously increasing especially here in the National Capital Region and we can see this is really the start in the peak in the number of cases,” sabi ni Vergeire isang panayam sa telebisyon.
Nabatid na nakatutok ngayon ang DOH sa pagdami ng mga kaso sa Ilocos, Cagayan, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Western Visayas at Northern Mindanao Regions.
Kahapon nakapagtala ang kagawaran ng karagdagang 612 kaso, ang pinakamarami simula noong Abril 3.
