Power yellow alert warning itinaas sa Luzon grid

Bumagsak ang limang power plants kayat nagpalabas ang National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP)  ng yellow alert warning.

 

Paliwanag ng NGCP, bumaba ang power reserves at ang yellow warning ay iiral mula ala-1 ngayon hapon hanggang mamayang alas-3.

 

Nagkaroon ng ‘forced outage’ sa SLPGC 1 (150MW), SLPGC 3&4 (50MW) GMEC 1 (316MW), GMEC 2 (316MW) at Calaca 2 (300MW).

 

Ang operating requirement sa Luzon grid ay 11,456 MW at ang available capacity ay 12,451MW.

 

Sinabi na rin ng Department of Energy (DOE) na kinakailangan magpalabas ng yellow warning dahil sa hindi pa rin paggana ng ilang pasilidad sa Bataan.

 

“At the moment, there are also yellow alert situation, which might happen starting at 1 o’clock in the afternoon until 3 this afternoon,” sabi ni Mario Marasigan, ang director ng DOE- Energy Power Industry Management Bureau.
