Sec. Guevarra, itinalaga bilang susunod na Solicitor-General
Itinalaga ni incoming President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. si Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra bilang susunod na Solicitor-General.
Ayon kay incoming Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Trixie Angeles, mananatili sa gobyerno si Guevarra.
Si Guevarra ay 30 taon nang abogado at nag-graduate na magna cum laude major sa Political Science sa Ateneo de Manila University noong 1974.
Nakakuha rin si Guevarra ng Masters in Economics sa University of the Philippines at nagtrabaho sa National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) noong 1977 hanggang 1983.
Nakakuha si Guevarra ng Bachelor of Laws degree sa Ateneo at pumangalawa sa 1985 bar exams.
Bago naging kalihim ng DOJ, nagsilbi muna si Guevarra bilang Deputy Executive Secretary ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
