Juan Ponce Enrile, itinalaga ni President-elect Marcos Jr. bilang Chief Presidential Legal Counsel
Itinalaga ni incoming President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. si dating Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile bilang Chief Presidential Legal Counsel.
Ayon kay incoming Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Trixie Angeles, manunungkulan ang 98-anyos na si Enrile ng anim na taon.
Si Enrile ay kilalang supporter ni Marcos at incoming Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio.
Nangako aniya si Enrile na patuloy na magsisilbing sa bayan at tinitiyak na magiging matagumpay ang administrasyong Marcos.
“I will devote my time and knowledge for the republic and for BBM because I want him to succeed,” pahayag ni Enrile.
Taong 2016 nang magretiro sa pulitika si Enrile.
Nagsilbing kalihim ng Department of National Defense (DND) si Enrile noong panahon ni dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Sr.
