NTF-ELCAC, Justice Sec. Guevarra nagbanggaan sa ‘red tagging issue’
Pinalagan ng National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) ang naging pahayag ni Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra na delikado ang ‘red tagging’ sa mga personalidad.
Sinabi ni task force spokesperson, Usec. Lorraine Badoy walang buhay na nanganganib dahil sa ‘red tagging.’
Dagdag pa niya wala talagang ‘red tagging’ at ito ay sinasamantala lamang ng mga komunistang grupo.
“We also find it unfortunate that no less that a Justice Secretary seems ignorant that our Supreme Court has ruled, in Zarate vs Aquino, that there is no danger to life, liberty and security when you are identified as a member of the CPP-NPA-NDF,” giit ni Badoy.
Bagamat inuulan sila ng batikos, ayon pa kay Badoy, hindi nila ititigil ang kanilang mandato alinsunod sa utos ni Pangulong Duterte.
Unang sinabi ni Guevarra na lubhang delikado ang ‘red tagging’ at ang pinakamabuting gawin ay magsampa na lamang ng mga kaso.
Miyembro ng NTF-ELCAC si Guevarra.
