Handa ang South Africa na tulungan ang Pilipinas sa suplay ng oil at petroleum products.

Pahayag ito ni Ambassador of South Africa Bartinah Ntombizodwa Radebe-Netshitenzhe matapos mag-courtesy call kay incoming President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa Mandaluyong City.

Ayon sa Ambassador, ang Angola at Namibia ang malaking supplier ng langis.

“We know that there has been a commitment from the Angola in particular and Namibia, they will look into it but there is still oil exploration in Namibia in particular Angola is already a big supplier in the Southern Africa,” pahayag ng Ambassador.

“So what we said to the President-elect is we are open to assist, to facilitate that but what is important is that Angola has more than 10,000 Filipinos working on offshore… 10,000 in Angola,” dagdag ng Ambassador.
