Bagong terminal building sa Batangas Port, pormal nang binuksan
Pormal nang binuksan ang bagong Integrated Passenger Terminal Building ng Port of Batangas.
Pinangunahan ni Transportation Secretary Art Tugade ang inagurasyon sa nasabing pasilidad sa Batangas City, araw ng Martes, Hunyo 14.
Matagumpay na nakumpleto ng DOTr at Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) ang konstruksyon ng Phase 1 at Phase 2A ng mas malaki at modernong integrated Batangas PTB.
Ang 15,000-square meter PTB ay mayroong fully air-conditioned lounges at PWD-friendly facilities upang mas maging komportable at maayos ang pagbiyahe ng mga pasahero.
Kaya nitong ma-accommodate ang aabot sa 4,000 pasahero.
Samantala, oras na matapos ang konstruksyon ng Phase 2B, ituturing na ang Batangas Port bilang pinakamalaking terminal port sa bansa na may kapasidad na 6,000 pasahero.
