PBBM Jr. nagka-ideya sa mga kontrobersyal na ahensiya mula kay SP Sotto
Ibinahagi ni Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III kay President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang ilang isyu na bumabalot sa ilang kontrobersyal na ahensiya ng gobyerno.
Sinabi ni Sotto na nabanggit niya ang mga nadiskubre ng pinamunuan niyang Committee of the Whole sa mga pagdinig sa Senado ukol sa smuggling ng mga produktong agrikultural.
Aniya, sinabi rin niya ang mga sa palagay niya ay mga problema sa Department of Agriculture (DA).
Gayundin, sabi pa ni Sotto, ang mga problema sa Bureau of Customs (BOC) at ang mga sinasabing sangkot sa smuggling na mga opisyal at tauhan ng dalawang ahensiya.
Sandali rin aniya nilang napag-usapan ang isyu ukol sa droga sa bansa.
“Matagal naman kaming magkaibigan, and we both served in Congress. Six years kaming nagsama, and we are family friends as far as the members of the family are concerned. So, maraming kwento, pero kwentuhan lang. Merong mga national government issues na as I said, I’d rather that he disclose what we discussed,” dagdag pa ng senador.
Nangyari ang pag-uusap ng dalawa ilang araw matapos iproklama ng Kongreso sina Marcos at Vice President-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio.
