EO ni Governor Garcia na hindi na mandatory ang paggamit ng face mask sa Cebu, sinupalpal ng DILG
Hindi kinilala ng Department of the Interior and Local Government ang executive order ni Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia na alisin na ang paggamit ng face mask sa mga outdoor areas o sa labas ng bahay o establisyemento.
Sa pahayag ni DILG Secretary Eduardo Año, sinabi nito na nagpalabas ng kautusan si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ipagpatuloy ang pagsusuot ng face mask matapos gawing optional ang paggamit nito sa Cebu.
Ayon kay Año, maari lamang tanggalin ang face mask kung kakain o sa mga well-ventilated sports at activities.
Tuloy aniya ang Philippine National Police sa pag-aresto sa mga lalabag sa health protocols na itinakda ng Inter-Agency Task Force.
Paalala pa ng DILG, patuloy pa ang banta sa pandemya sa COVID-19.
