Indigent sa QC bibigyan ng medical asssistance ni Belmonte

Bibigyan ng pinansyal na ayuda ni Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte ang mga mahihirap o indigent na residente ng lungsod na nao-ospital.
Ayon kay Belmonte, nakipagpulong na ang lokal na pamahalaan sa pitong malalaking hospital para matulungan ang indigent sa hospital bill sa pamamagitan ng Medical Assistance Program.
Kabilang sa mga ospital na partner ng Quezon City ay ang Lung Center of the Philippines, National Children’s Hospital, National Kidney and Transplant Institute, Philippine Heart Center, East Avenue Medical Center, Philippine Children’s Medical Center, Quirino Memorial Medical Center at St. Luke’s Medical Center.
Bukod sa billing statement, tutulong din ang pamahalaang lungsod sa gamot, laboratory, at iba pa.
Umaasa si Belmonte na malaking tulong ang hakbang na ito para makapagpagamot ang mga mahihirap.
