PCG nagpakalat na ng response group para sa clearing operations sa Sorsogon

Nagdagdag na ng tauhan ang Philippine Coast Guard para magsagawa ng ashfall cleating operations sa mga lugar na apektado ng pag-aalburuto ng Bulkang Bulusan sa Sorsogon.

Ayon kay PCG spokesman Commodore Armand Balilo, naideploy na ang response group sa  ibat-ibang lugar.

Nag-deploy na rin aniya ang PCG ng personnel para sa pag-set-up ng mga family tents sa Juban Gymnasium bilang panibagong evacuation center sa munisipalidad.

Sinundo na rin ng PCG ang mga apektadong pamilya para ligtas na makalipat sa Juban Gymnasium mula sa Juban Evacuation Center.

Sa pinakahuling tala ng PCG Station Sorsogon, nasa 58 pamilya o 216 na residente ang inilikas dahil sa insidente noong Linggo.

Kasabay nito, nakibahagi rin ang PCG sa strategic planning na pinangungunahan ng Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) kaugnay ng “ash fall clearing operations.”

Katuwang ng PCG ang Philippine Army (PA), Philippine National Police (PNP), at Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
