Konstruksyon ng pinakamahabang tulay sa Mindanao, 51 porsyento nang tapos

Puspusan ang pagsasagawa ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) sa pinakamahabang tulay sa Mindanao.

Nag-inspeksyon sina DPWH acting Secretary Roger Mercado, kasama si Undersecretary at Build Build Build Chief Implementer Emil Sadain at iba pang opisyal, sa Panguil Bay Bridge Project sa araw ng Miyerkules, Hunyo 1.

Kabilang ang naturang proyekto sa 119 infrastructure flagship projects sa ilalim ng “Build, Build, Build” Program.

Sinabi ni Saddain na 51.4 porsyento nang tapos ang konstruksyon ng nasabing proyekto.

“I am delighted that the work is now progressing at a faster pace using state-of-the-art engineering equipment and adopting modern technology in bridge construction,” ayon kay Mercado.

Oras na matapos, makokonekta ng 3.17 kilometer two-way two-lane Panguil Bay Bridge ang Tangub City sa Misamis Occidental at Tubod sa Lanao del Norte.

Makatutulong ito upang abutin na lamang ng pitong minuto ang biyahe sa pagitan ng Tangub City at Tubod.

Naituloy ang P7.37-billion project sa pamamagitan ng funding assistance mula sa South Korea.

Bilang bahagi ng suporta, bumuo ang Provincial Government ng Lanao Del Norte at Misamis Occidental ng Multi-Partite Monitoring Team para matutukan at matagumpay na maisagawa ang Panguil Bay Bridge Project.
