Sen. Sonny Angara nalugod sa napiling DBM secretary ni PBBM
Ikinatuwa ni Senator Sonny Angara ang pagkakapili ni president-elect Bongbong Marcos Jr., sa isa niyang dating staff bilang susunod na kalihim ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
“We welcome with open arms the appointment of Amenah Pangandaman as incoming Budget Secretary under the Marcos administration,” sabi ni Angara.
Dagdag pa ng senador; “Given her long experience in both the legislature and the executive branches, we look forward to working with Mina once again as we go over 2023 national budget later this year.”
Si Pangandaman ay nagsilbi munang chief of staff ng yumaong Senate President Edgardo J. Angara at nagbalik sa Senado, kay Sen. Loren Legarda nang ang huli ang namumuno pa sa Senate Committee on Finance.
Tiwala din ang nakakabatang Angara na magiging maayos ang koordinasyon ng Ehekutibo at Lehislatura dahil sa malawak na karanasan ni Pangandaman sa Senado, Budget Department at Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
