34-anyos na drug suspect, timbog sa buy-bust ops sa Cebu City
Naaresto ng mga tauhan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang 34-anyos na drug suspect sa ikinasang buy-bust operation sa Cebu City noong Mayo 29.
Kinilala ang drug suspect na si Renevic Jao alyas “Dodong”.
Kabilang si Jao sa police drug watchlist bilang isang high-value drug personality.
Ikinasa ang operasyon ng Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 7, katuwang ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 7, sa bahagi ng General Maxilom Avenue sa Barangay Zapatera.
Sa gitna ng operasyon, nakuha ng mga awtoridad ang 250 gramo ng shabu na tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng mahigit P1.7 milyon.
Sinabi ni PNP OIC Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr. na mahaharap ang drug suspect sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Siniguro rin ni Danao na magsasagawa ng follow-up investigation para sa posibleng koneksyon ng drug transaction.
