NCR, may mabagal na pagtaas ng COVID-19 cases – OCTA

Iniulat ng OCTA Research na mayroong naobserbahang pagtaas sa kaso ng COVID-19 sa National Capital Region (NCR).

Sa Twitter, sinabi ni OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David na nakapagtala ng 74 na daily average na bagong COVID-19 cases sa Metro Manila simula Mayo 23 hanggang 29.

Mas mataas aniya ito ng dalawang porsyento kumpara sa datos na 72 noong Mayo 16 hanggang 22.

Mula sa 0.51, nasa 0.52 na ang one-week average daily attack rate (ADAR).

Base pa sa inilabas na datos ni David, nasa ‘moderate’ category ang reproduction number sa NCR dahil mula sa 1.02, umakyat na ito sa 1.08.

Mula naman sa 1.2 porsyento, nasa 1.4 porsyento na ang COVID-19 positivity rate sa Metro Manila na may average na 11,047 tests kada araw.

Tumaas din ang hospital care utilization rate sa 23 porsyento.

Gayunman, sinabi ni David na nananatili sa ‘low risk’ classification ang NCR sa COVID-19.

“An uptick of cases is observed in the NCR, but the rate of increase in new COVID cases is very slow at this time,” paliwanag nito.

Patuloy naman ang paalala sa publiko na sundin ang minimum health protocols.
